New Life Thrift Store
The doors opened in April 2004. It's been a roller coaster ride ever
since-we have been blessed with a lot more ups than downs. Donations are
up, the customer base is up, sales are up-our debt is down. To open the
store we incurred a debt of $106,000 and by the end of this year it will
be paid off.
The purpose of establishing the store was to raise money for the South
Suburban Christian Schools. That has been accomplished and after the debt
is paid off, the gifts will increase. Beyond that, many more wonderful
outcomes have been accomplished. Refugees sponsored by local churches
have gotten supplies, mission trips to poverty stricken areas have been
able to take along clothing, and we have worked with many other *agencies
by passing on items that closely relate to their outreach and we cannot

Home Repair Service, and Cary, Mississippi mission)
If you have never shopped with us or if you are a regular customer, stop
in and use the coupon below for even greater savings. If you have just
cleaned out a closet or two, drop the items off and get a receipt for
your tax-deductible donation. If you have time on your hands and want to
make new friends, become a volunteer.
