Professional Biography |
I graduated from Calvin Christian School. I then attended Calvin College and received my
Bachelor's degree in secondary education with a History major and a P.E. minor. I then went on and received a
Master's degree from Michigan State University in curriculum development.
Personal Biography |
I have been teaching at South Christian since 1986. I am married and my wife is a professional photographer. My oldest son is a Freshmen at Calvin College, and my youngest son is a first grader at Byron Center Christian.
Faith |
I believe that the home, church and school work together to mold the spiritual walk for a young person. Being a part of the equation as Christian school teacher is very rewarding and very exciting.
It became very apparent to me in college that this was where the Lord was leading me for my calling.
Every day I am affirmed that I am in the right place and doing God's will. Through teaching and coaching I know in some small way God is using me to touch the lives of my students and players. What a blessing and privilege to be used in this way.
