Professional Biography |
I attended Kalamazoo Christian Schools and Calvin College for one year. I graduated from Western Michigan University with an Industrial Education as well as a master's in Industrial Education. I have taught at South Christian for 39 years and have coached boys and girls golf and was an assistant JV and Varsity football coach.
Personal Biography |
I have been married to Jan for 40 years. I have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. All of them are part of the Sailor school community.
Faith |
Through many events, God used my parents, church and schools to shape and nudge me in the direction of Christian education. I became convinced that God uses people in all walks of life to build his kingdom. I felt called to work with students who were not always comfortable in traditional classes. This has all translated into industry and trades for my area of teaching. God has truly controlled my path, and I love to share that with my students.
To challenge students to develop and use their gifts as they seek to be part of God’s plan to reclaim this world is very rewarding.
