Professional Biography |
I graduated from Calvin College in 1988 with a BA in elementary education. My first teaching experience from 1988-1989 was at Hilton Head Christian Academy where I taught third grade. I then taught second, third and fourth grade at Cutlerville Christian School during the 17 years I was there. I have been teaching in the Educational Support Services at South Christian since 2006. At South I work with students who are learning English as a second language and I also job coach students at a variety of job situations in the community. God has blessed me with a marvelous variety of teaching experiences which have been equally enjoyable.

Faith |
I find it a great blessing to teach in a Christian School. Students and their learning is my passion and the fact that I can share my faith with them while working with them is simply amazing. My prayer is that Jesus will live through me and that in some way I might be able to impact each student that I come in contact with for Christ.
