Professional Biography |
I attended Grand Rapids Community College before transferring to Western Michigan University. At GRCC I majored in business and had plans to work in an office if I did not pursue a 4-year degree. However, I felt called to teach and transferred to Western, not only for my bachelor’s degree in Business Education but also for a Master’s Degree with the same major.
My whole teaching career has been at SCHS. In 1997 I began teaching part-time when I moved into the position of registrar.
Personal Biography |
I am a member at Kelloggsville CRC and am involved in ministries there. My favorite summertime hobby is spending time at my trailer in Sandy Pines and favorite winter hobby is reading, although I don’t get very much time for it.
Faith |
Several years ago there was a song which included the line “More than a pot of gold, more than anything at all, I want Jesus in your heart.” That would be my prayer for every student who walks these halls. Regardless of each person’s abilities, lifetime goals, and career choices, it is my desire that each one believes in Jesus Christ and reflects that in his/her daily life.
