Personal Biography |
South Christian High School has a major role in our family’s lives. My husband, George, is a vice principal, both of our older sons are graduates, and our daughter is a student at South Christian. We are new members at Hillside Community Church and are active in small groups. Our family enjoys snow skiing, water skiing, traveling, U of M football games, cooking, visiting friends and family in Canada, summer vacation at Gun Lake, running, and reading.
Faith |
Teaching at South Christian is a privilege and blessing for me. The teachers, support staff, administration and students are committed to God and show this in their daily work. Teaching in a Christian school allows me to freely and openly express my love for Christ and his kingdom. I can share with my students the joy I have in knowing that “we are not are own, but we are bought at a price. Therefore, we are to honor God with our body.” (I Corinthians 6:19) I want to be a positive role model for my students and encourage them to use their talents to better his kingdom.
