Professional Biography |
I received my Bachelors of Arts in Education from Calvin College, where I majored in English and minored in physical education. I completed my Masters in Education with an emphasis as a Media Specialist from Grand Valley State University. I have taught at South Christian High School, at Kelloggsville Christian School, at Oakdale Christian School, at Kalamazoo Christian High School, and at Lowell Public School. I also was a substitute teacher in several public and private schools for about five years when I stayed home with my young sons. I have taught many physical education classes, have coached many girls' sports teams, and have taught many types of English classes.

I enjoy spending time with my family, riding my bike, reading books, traveling all over the world, and gardening.
