Professional Biography |
I graduated from Hope College with a major in Physical Education and minor in Biology. I have also taken Master's courses at Western Michigan University in Sports Studies. I entered the teaching field because I love working and relating to kids. My teachers were so influential in my life and I wanted to pass that on.
Personal Biography |
I am married with 3 children. Before coming to SCHS, I taught at Zeeland Public High School for
5 years. In addition to teaching, I also enjoy coaching Girls Varsity Softball. My hobbies include reading, traveling and participating in triathlons.
Faith |
God blessed us with amazing and detailed bodies. I am so thankful to be able to move and praise him. In PE, I teach students to take care of the gift God gave us. I hope to challenge and teach my students how to live healthier.
