Faith Statement

“‘Love the LORD your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” -King Jesus

Love. King Jesus states He desires mercy, not sacrifice. Love sums up the entire Law. It is a Fruit of the Holy Spirit: the first on the list – along with Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control. When we love, all the other commandments fall into place. I believe in praying to be filled up with His Love along with all the the Fruit of His Spirit.

We are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We must be holy and filled with the Holy Spirit, showing God’s great Love to the world with a servant’s heart, taking on the character of God and removing ourselves/sinful nature.

I believe in the authority of the inherent, Living Word of God, in Jesus Christ His Son, and The Holy Spirit indwelling His Holy Temple, our bodies as believers in Christ Jesus.

I believe in a relational communion with God the Father through His Son and the leading of His Holy Spirit, being born of Spirit and the grace of Jesus’ saving blood on the cross and resurrection from the dead, overcoming sin.

“In the world you will have trouble. But take heart, for I have overcome the world!” -King Jesus
