Director of Advancement

South Christian High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking a mission-driven leader to serve as our next Director of Advancement.

South Christian High School is a vibrant community of over 60 faculty and 770 students, dedicated to its mission: to equip students to live Christ-centered lives and serve God to their greatest potential. 

Reporting to the Head of School, this individual leads and oversees all aspects of fundraising and donor engagement at the school. This person will establish and grow deep partnerships within an established donor base of supporters of Christ-centered education, while also cultivating new relationships among others who are passionate about the school. 

We are seeking candidates who demonstrate a passion for Jesus Christ and can promote the school’s mission while meeting fundraising goals and objectives on an annual basis. The ideal candidate has excellent written and verbal communication skills and is able to tell stories of the school and its students that inspire others to join in the mission. Head Varsity Boys Volleyball Coach

South Christian High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking applicants for a Varsity Boys Volleyball Head Coach beginning immediately. South Christian is a Division 2 school of over 770 students and 60 faculty dedicated to our mission: to equip students to live Christ-centered lives and serve God to their greatest potential. 

South Christian’s Boys Volleyball program has been a club program for the past 6 Spring seasons. We are now officially entering into an MHSAA sponsored sport this coming Spring with the addition of Boys Volleyball to the MHSAA. We are seeking a head coach who demonstrates a passion for Jesus Christ along with the ability to sustain and build on the success of this program. A successful candidate will be able to share how they will use the boys volleyball program as a training ground to mentor student athletes to become more like Christ.

Economics/Intro to Business Long-Term Substitute

South Christian High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan is a vibrant community of over 770 students and 60 faculty dedicated to our mission: to equip students to live Christ-centered lives and serve God to their greatest potential. We are currently  seeking applicants for a long-term substitute Economics/Introduction to Business Teacher for the second semester. This position will start in mid-January and run through the end of the school year on May 29th. 


Courses will include economics and introduction to business. Michigan teaching certification in social studies or business is strongly preferred.
