Art Teacher (updated job posting)

South Christian High School, in Grand Rapids, MI, is a vibrant community of over 690 students and 50 faculty dedicated to our mission to equip students to live Christ-centered lives and serve God to their greatest potential. We are seeking applicants for a part time (80%) art teacher position beginning in August of 2024. There is flexibility with the time of day that the courses are taught. A Michigan teaching certificate is required.

We are seeking candidates who demonstrate a passion for Jesus Christ and can engage young people in an environment that is both relationally excellent and academically rigorous. A successful candidate will be able to articulate strategies that invite, nurture, and empower students to think deeply about God’s world and take an active role in God’s redemptive work.
