I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI and then attended Calvin College, where I received a degree in Business and Communications. In 2011, my husband, Troy and I, moved to Byron Center. We loved the community and the small town feel. We have three children – Ryan, Austin, and Lexi and we can’t forget our dog, Scout! We love to spend time camping in the summer.

Faith Statement
The root of my faith comes from my parents, who exemplified Christ in every facet of life. I was blessed to be brought up in Christian schools and have had many influential people in my life. We are not perfect, we are all faulted, but it is by God’s grace that we are redeemed! I consider my faith a journey, not a sprint. We have to look at every opportunity as a way to share God’s love and I believe that God has a purpose for me in this role at South Christian High School.
