I grew up right around West Michigan and graduated from South Christian in 2018. From there I went on to Calvin University where I graduated in 2022. As I started my freshman year of college, I was unaware of where the Lord wanted to take me in my career path, but I did know I loved sports and the community that comes along with them. In the summers, I was working at a Summer Camp that solidified that teaching was where the Lord wanted me and what I was passionate about. I have received my Bachelors in Physical Education and Health, and I am so excited that I get to share these passions with students at South Christian this upcoming year. South is where I grew in my faith through sports teams, Young Life, chapels and youth group. In my free time I love spending time with family and friends, being active, and playing sports!

Faith Statement
Attending Christian schools is such a special gift, and I’m full of gratitude that I was able to experience this. We went to church every Sunday, youth group, and Young Life, and at these events is where I was able to learn about Jesus and what He did for us. All these things helped me with my faith walk, but one thing I needed to learn was making my faith my own. Not comparing my relationship to anyone else’s and developing my own relationship with Christ. I was able to profess my faith in High School knowing full well the gift of everlasting life that the Lord has so graciously given to us through His love and grace!
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties, for when I am weak, then I am strong”
I am so humbled to get to share my passions for Jesus and Phys Ed/Health with the students of South Christian and to grow in our faith together!
