Biography

I graduated from Cornerstone University with a Degree in Learning Disabilities and Physical Education. I am currently working towards a Masters in Cognitive Impairments from Grand Valley State University. Prior to coming to South Christian, I was an Inclusion Specialist for students with special needs for five years. In my free time, I enjoy being active with all different sports and physical activity. I also enjoy theatre and musicals.

Faith Statement

I believe in the five majors: Creation, Fall, Redemption, Church, New Heaven and New Earth (Consummation). As a believer in Christ, I am daily reminded what a privilege it is to be a daughter, servant, and solider of God. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself.” This Double Love Command is of utter importance in my life and my teaching.

I have personally reaped and implemented the value of having a Christian Education. I believe in the “training a child in the way they should go.” I passionately aspire to equip students to live Christ-centered lives and serve God to their greatest potential. This means including all students, especially those with special needs.
