Jacqui Palmer

Biography

I graduated from South Christian in 2009 and went on to attend college in Colorado before spending several years traveling the world as a flight attendant. Two years ago, I returned home to Grand Rapids to raise my daughter in the community that means so much to me. My daughter and I do just about everything together, and she truly is my best friend.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen baking something sweet with a good classic rock playlist in the background and an iced latte near by. I also love long road trips—and pointing out every deer I can spot along the way!

I’m incredibly excited to be back in the community that helped shape me and to have the opportunity to be part of shaping the lives of students.

Faith Statement

I am incredibly thankful to have been raised in a Christian home by two loving parents who were Christ-like examples in my life. Their faith shaped the foundation of who I am and continues to influence the way I strive to live each day. I want my life to reflect Christ—not only in the way I love and serve others, but in the way I approach the everyday moments of life.

My faith reminds me to continually look for Jesus, even in the smallest things, and to strive to be more like Him. I am grateful for the opportunity to pass that example on to my daughter, just as my parents did for me. I truly believe He never fails us, and He never will.
