I grew up in Grand Rapids and attended South Christian. I graduated from Grand Valley State University and worked as a Certified Recreational Therapist for nearly 10 years. Most of my experience as a Recreational Therapist was at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans and Pine Rest. Almost 4 years ago, I decided to be a stay at home mom with my young boys. It has been very rewarding to be able to do this and I’ve valued this time. I have been married to my husband, Kevin, for 13 years and we have 2 boys. We are a very active family. We enjoy spending time outside, traveling, sports, and we are involved in our church. I look forward to using my previous work skills and experiences to support the students at South Christian.

Faith Statement
It’s a privilege to know God and have a constant friend in Jesus. Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I have been shaped by numerous people and life experiences and all of these have helped me develop a personal relationship with Christ. I want other people to know how much Jesus loves them and hope they discover the fullness of a relationship with God. Ephesians 3:17-19 states, “And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”
