I spent my high school years at a public school in Anchorage, Alaska and went to college at Biola University where I received a BA in Biblical Studies in 2005. My love for Scripture, theology, and church history developed and so I later attended Wheaton College where I received an MA in Historical and Systematic Theology (2008) and a PhD in Systematic Theology (2016). I’ve taught teenagers and adults in various churches and previously taught at Cornerstone University and Moody Bible Institute. My wife and I have been married since 2005 and have two children who currently/will attend Byron Center Christian School. We previously did high school ministry for 10 years and currently attend Pathway Church. We love to travel, camp, cook, and cheer for the Chicago Bears and Cubs.
