I grew up in West Michigan and I’m so thankful to be serving as an educator. I graduated from GVSU in 2011 (Major: Group Social Studies, Minor: History) and taught for seven years at West Ottawa Public Schools (north side of Holland, MI). I received my Master’s degree in Ed. Leadership from Cornerstone University in 2018, and I’ve been able to serve as a high school administrator since 2019. It is my absolute pleasure to be at South Christian High School and serve the students, families, and staff. My beautiful wife, Kiersten, teaches First Grade within Kentwood Public Schools and we have three lovely daughters, Hadley, Olivia, and Evelyn.

Faith Statement
God has done, and continues to do, an amazing work in me. Thank you, Jesus. When it comes to education, I think it’s most important to remember this scripture, “For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding” (Proverbs 2:6, ESV). God is so good and He gives us wisdom when we ask for it. Additionally, I enjoy working unto the Lord and encouraging others to do the same, as His word says, “and whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.” (Colossians 3:23-24, KJV)
