Biography

My family and I moved to the Grand Rapids area in 2020. While I am newer to the South Christian community, I married into a family of proud South Christian Sailors, which has given me a deep appreciation for the school’s relationships and lasting impact.

I am a first-generation college student and hold a BS in Public Relations from the University of North Florida and an MBA from the University of Colorado. My professional background has centered on leadership, communication, and team building, with a strong emphasis on connecting people around a shared mission.

I am a mom of two young children. Outside of work, I enjoy scrapbooking and collecting leather postcards as a way of preserving stories and memories. I also love hiking and spending time outdoors, especially when it allows me to slow down and enjoy God’s creation.

Faith Statement

I am a lifelong Christian who grew up in the church and have been involved in Christian outreach and service since high school. Over the years, my faith has been shaped less by any single moment and more by a steady reliance on God’s grace and a growing understanding of humility.

I believe people are often drawn to Christ not through perfection or persuasion, but through consistent, genuine interactions with believers who reflect His love in everyday life. Scripture reminds us to “let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). Simple acts of kindness, integrity, and care can become powerful testimony when they point beyond ourselves to God.

I also believe it is our responsibility as Christians to share our stories. God works uniquely in each life, and those stories matter. In both my faith and my work, I see storytelling as a way to build connection, invite understanding, and ultimately reflect the larger story of what God is doing through His people and His church.
