I grew up on the lakeshore, where I attended Holland Christian High School. At Calvin University, I found a love for asking questions, exploring new places, and teaching. I graduated from Calvin with my BA in Social Studies Education with a focus in History and Geography. Church communities are a foundational part of my walk with Jesus. I am grateful for a community like South Christian where I can share my love for people across time and places.

Faith Statement
Titus 2:7-8 “In everything, set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching, show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned.” Jesus modeled what it looks like to invite others into the story. Patient teachers and leaders in my life chose to give of their time and energy to show up, speak truth, and encourage a walk with Jesus. I hope that students would experience the Lord’s continued faithfulness in that way during their years at SCHS.
